On the popular social network, Instagram, you can see what people you follow have posted in a chronological list, and you are notified each time somone posts a photo. But what if you want to filter those notifications so that you only are notified when a specific person posts?
Thankfully the answer is very simple, with only two steps to set it up. Whenever the person you enable it for posts, you’ll get a notification when they posted. This is great if you want to make sure to always see your friends newest selfies.
1. Navigate to the profile that you want to enable notifications for
To start, find the person’s profile screen by searching in your newsfeed.
2. Tap on the three dots in the top right corner.
3. Tap “turn on post notifications”
Choose the option at the bottom of the list to enable notifications. Now when the account posts a notification will pop up!
Now you’ll never miss another picture from your favorite accounts.
To turn it off, just follow the same steps and tap the same option to disable notifications for specific accounts.
